Griepp & McRee Inc is a Pasadena law firm, serving the greater Southern California area, practicing only estate planning and related matters, (such as probate, trust administration, business entity management and business succession strategies).
Logo Design
Like many legal firms, Galen Griepp and Sharon McRee had never gone through the process of developing a creative identity for their firm. Our involvement began at the beginning of that process, to create a thematic concept to inspire their logo and web design. Because so much of their business has to do with building for the future and creating a plan for their clients, we designed a logo inspired by stepping stones.
Print Design
We implemented this design for business cards and letterhead, as well as other promotional materials.
Website Design
For the website, Griepp & McRee were looking for a design that would be timeless and classic, allowing them to keep their site for years to come. We began by extending the stepping stones from the logo and incorporating pictures that represent their diverse clientel. While they wanted to stay with a soft, clean, neutral pallette, we added bands of off-black to ground the site, and orange accents to bring it to life.
For the interior pages the masthead was reduced to allow for the focus to be on the content.
Since Griepp & McRee needed to be able to easily update the site and add new content, the site is powered by the Movable Type Blog Software.
