Website Design
weSPARK Cancer Support Center is a well respected charity based in Sherman Oaks, CA. While they were looking for a cosmetic facelift for their site, what they needed most was an easy way to make updates about their programs and community events.
The solution we provided was to base the site on a Movable Type blog system, so that updates could be made by all staff members. We also designed a flash photo gallery to showcase the pictures from their past celebrity events and fundraisers. The photogallery is powered by external images and perl scripts to generate an XML file to order the photos into the various galleries. Adding pictures to the gallery becomes as easy as dragging and dropping the images into the appropriate folders.
Logo Design
The design of the site began with the redesign of the logo, and the creation of a flash banner. The design of the banner has also been used for 6ft and 9ft banners for public events.
2d Graphics
Shapeless also created a vector version of a caricature of the founder, Wendi Jo Sperber, for use on promotional materials for their annual golf fundraiser.
